Chinese Ministry

The Tang small group meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays after the first service in the Edwards conference room at church. This is a bilingual group using primarily Chinese (Mandarin) for Bible-related discussions.

The Translation Team consists of 11 bilingual members and collaborates closely with the worship team, sermon speaker, and admins. Translators translate the large print bulletin and sermon manuscript into Chinese each week, ensuring the message is accurately and faithfully conveyed. The proofreaders and editors then refine the translation for clarity, readability, and formatting. The interpreter provides real-time translation during the 9am service each week. The side-by-side bilingual translation is printed and available at the front desk for reading and is also distributed via email to those interested in an electronic version.

This English conversation class is designed for internationals seeking to improve their English conversation skills and build friendships with Americans. Participants in this class will have the opportunity to discuss a variety of topics in a relaxed setting and also learn about their language partner’s biblical worldview.
