  • Navigating Culture Seminar

Beginning Sunday, July 12th during the 11am service, The North Institute will host a seminar on Navigating Culture. This seminar will cover topics related to cultural engagement. What is culture? How should Christians engage with culture? Put simply, we want to grow in consuming culture wisely, curating cultural inputs appropriately, and creating culture effectively. The seminar series will take place across six Sundays, covering topics such as art, film, and literature, media, technology, sports and traditions, and politics. Register here.

  • National Night Out Exchange

    Sunday, July 19, 11am, Room A200

Join us for an exchange of ideas on how to strategically build relationships with neighbors and to make much of Jesus through National Night Out. This meeting aims to inform first-time participants and to further equip experienced hosts through informal conversations around: (1) a brief overview of National Night Out (a.k.a. Night To Unite), (2) a resource kit of suggestions, (3) shared ideas, and (4) an earnest time of prayer. From those who are merely curious about NNO to those who are seasoned hosts, all are welcomed!

  • Baptism & Membership Classes

    Monday, July 20, 7pm, C400
Join us for a baptism class that teaches on the details, purpose, and results of baptism. If you are interested in being baptized, learning more about believers' baptism, or understanding the way that God uses baptism for our good, please join us for this class. Please register here.

    Monday, July 27, 7pm, C400
Is church membership in the Bible? How is it the same or different compared to membership at the gym or community club? At The North Church, we believe in meaningful church membership. This class walks through the biblical basis for church membership, who should be a member at The North Church, what members should expect from and contribute to other church members, and more.

This class covers the curriculum requirement for church members, though all are welcome, whether or not they are interested in membership. Please register here.
