Laurie Walmsley

Deacon

Laurie has been a follower of Jesus since her sophomore year in high school. She is excited to pursue the presence, the power and the peace that God offers through prayer. Her aim as Prayer Deacon is to increase the hunger and desperation for The North Church to pursue God in the dicipline and privilege of prayer. Together with her fellow Prayer Deacons, Laurie has partnered to teach the 5 step prayer model for the prayer seminar and Prayer Lab adult Sunday class and organize the prayer ministry team for the weekly after service prayer.

Laurie has served as a Prayer Deacon since 2019. She and her husband Steve have been at The North Church since 1992.
